Mercure held the 2015 Annual Product Technology Training Conference

On July 25th, the company held the 2015 annual technology training meeting for luxury products in the marketing center. The meeting was presided over by the general manager Yan, and Dr. Yao Jiang, the principal and deputy director of the R&D Center, gave a technical report. Some colleagues from the technical department, production department and marketing center participated in this training activity.


 
Dr. Yao Jiang firstly introduced the difficulties faced by cemented carbide tool enterprises in the domestic market and the many advantages of cermet compared with cemented carbide materials, and pointed out that cermet materials could be used as a substitute for some cemented carbide materials and have a huge market prospect. Subsequently, Dr. Jiang introduced the basic characteristics, application range and preparation process of cermet materials in detail in the explanation of "Preparation Basis and Performance Characterization of Cermet". Cermet is made by the powder metallurgy method of metal and ceramic composite materials, the current market cermet mainly oxide, carbide, boride, nitride and carbonitride. The luxury of sharp metal ceramic products ingredient is Ti (C, N), Ti (C, N) fund of ceramic with good performance, compared with the WC based cemented carbide, processing in develop high red hardness, similar intensity, low corrosion resistance, thermal conductivity and coefficient of friction, has the high life or in the life of the same situation can use high cutting speed, work piece has good surface finish. Therefore, Ti(C,N) -based ceramics can replace WC based cemented carbide successfully in many processing occasions, filling the gap between WC based cemented carbide and ceramics. At present, this kind of material is developing towards two directions of high toughness and high wear resistance, the high toughness is competing with the coating cemented carbide, and the high wear resistance is competing with the ceramic material. In addition, from the perspective of resources, it is of great economic and strategic significance to develop cheap Ti(C,N) -based ceramics with rich resources and no or less cobalt and tungsten.
 
Dr. Yao Jiang finished the report, the technical department of colleagues on the current product in the preparation process of some technical questions to Dr. Yao Jiang, Dr. Yao Jiang one by one for the analysis. In the end, the general manager made a summary speech on the technical training meeting. While affirming the numerous achievements made by MeLuxury in the past three years, he pointed out that there were still some problems to be improved at the present stage. The purpose of product technology training is to make every department of the company, especially the technical department and the production department, familiar with the characteristics and preparation technology of cermet. Only in this way can we produce perfect products and enhance the brand competitiveness of Mercure. At present, Mercure has achieved the leading level of domestic cermet, but its main competitors are foreign first-line brand manufacturers. Only by constantly improving itself, Mercure can achieve better development.
